We returned to Bopfingen to be greeted by the Mayor. Bürgermeister Dr. Gunter Bühler welcomed us to Bopfingen and told us how impressed he was by our idea of Tikun Olam which we shared at our Shabbat service last night. We were each presented with a book of memories of citizens of Bopfingen who lived during the time of the Third Reich. Dr. Bühler also gave us a short history of the city and a quick tour of the Rathaus. It was built in the 1500’s and is really amazing!
